Smashed Window in Attempted Truck Theft

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after an attempted theft of a pickup Tuesday morning.

Approximately 5:45 a.m. a resident near Farley and Pine Ridge drives reported someone trying to steal his Toyota Tundra. The victim was alerted by his alarm going off, and his son saw someone running from the area. The victim found his passenger window broken and part of the vehicle’s console torn out.
