The Guelph Police Service is investigating after an SUV stolen from Halton Region was recovered here.

A female called police just after 7 a.m. to report her grey 2018 Dodge Durango, which had been stolen overnight from Acton, was tracking in Guelph. Officers arrived a short time later at a parking lot on Scottsdale Drive near Stone Road West where they located the vehicle. The vehicle was dirty with chunks of grass stuck in the undercarriage, suggesting it had been driven off road. Two car seats were removed and not located.
