Stolen Lexus SUV Used in Fergus Break-in

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after an SUV stolen from Guelph was used in a Wellington County break-in.

Early Sunday morning, Guelph Police received a message from the Ontario Provincial Police regarding a vehicle used during a break-in at a business in Fergus. The Lexus SUV was abandoned at the scene.

When officers visited a home in the area of Palmer and Stuart streets, the owner discovered his vehicle had been stolen from the driveway overnight.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Constable Greg Mitchell at 519-824-1212, ext. 7170, email him at gmitchell@guelphpolice.ca, leave an anonymous message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or leave an anonymous tip online at www.csgw.tips.
