Stolen Porsche Recovered, Female Arrested

A Guelph female faces several charges after a stolen Porsche was recovered Tuesday evening.

Approximately 5:45 p.m., members of the Guelph Police Service Break Enter Auto Theft (BEAT) Unit were patrolling in the area of Fife Road when they located a Porsche SUV which had previously been reported stolen. The licence plates had also been separately reported stolen.

Officers conducted surveillance on the vehicle and approximately one hour later a female was seen approaching and unlocking it. She was arrested without incident.

A 39-year-old Guelph female is charged with possessing stolen property over $5,000, two counts of possessing stolen property under $5,000 and breaching probation. She will appear in a Guelph court September 19, 2023.
