Stolen Vehicle Hits Boat Parked in Driveway

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after several people were seen fleeing a stolen vehicle early Wednesday.

Approximately 1:35 a.m., police were called after a vehicle went off the road and collided with a boat in a private driveway near Victoria Road North and Norma Crescent. The vehicle, which had been stolen from Niagara Region, was not operable following the collision.

Several people were seen fleeing the vehicle. A Guelph Police Service canine unit conducted a track and located a female in a wooded area. She was suffering from a medical issue and was transported to hospital for treatment.
