Stunt Driving Charge for 94 km/h in a 50 km/h

A Guelph man was taken off the road for 30 days after he was caught Wednesday driving nearly twice the speed limit.

Just before 1 p.m. a member of the Guelph Police Service Traffic Unit was patrolling on Gordon Street near Kortright Road when he clocked an Acura SUV travelling 94 km/h in a posted 50 km/h zone.

A 29-year-old Guelph man is charged with speeding and stunt driving. His license was suspended for 30 days and his vehicle was impounded for 14 days.
