A woman arrested last week after a north-end apartment building sustained more than $2,000 in damage has been arrested again after attending the same address.
Just before midnight Monday, a police officer was patrolling when he observed the woman trying to enter a side entrance of the building near Woolwich Street and Speedvale Avenue. She was then seen in a driveway of an adjacent address and appeared to be hiding behind a parked car.
The officer spoke to the woman to determine why she was in the area and acting suspiciously. She provided a name and date of birth later determined to be fake.
When her identity was confirmed it was learned she is on a bail order with conditions not to attend the apartment building. She had been arrested last Thursday for damaging two fob readers and a window and released on bail the same day.
A 37-year-old is charged with prowling near a dwelling, obstructing police, failing to comply with a bail order and breach of probation. She was held for a bail hearing Tuesday.
