Teen Charged – Hidden Phone in School Bathroom

A Guelph teenager has been arrested after a cellphone was located in the girls’ bathroom at an elementary school.

Monday afternoon, two 13-year-old females had just used the washroom at a south-end school when they discovered a hidden cellphone which was recording video.

The phone was turned over to staff and police were called. On Monday evening a male youth attended the police station with his parents and was arrested.

A 13-year-old Guelph male is charged with voyeurism. He will appear in a Guelph court in August.
