Teen Charged with Assault Downtown Guelph

A Guelph teenager is charged with assault following a disturbance downtown on the weekend.

Approximately 5:30 p.m. Saturday, a teenaged female was confronted as she boarded a bus at the transit terminal on Carden Street. A verbal argument escalated inside the bus and the victim was slapped across the face.

On Monday evening a 13-year-old female was located and arrested for assault. She will appear in court in August.
