Gloria Chenier recently posted of her large framed photo collage of memories at the former Imperial Tobacco plant in Guelph.

Guelph has been home to many industries over the years including the Imperial Tobacco Plant. In July of 1957 Imperial Tobacco purchased land on Woodlawn Road and construction followed in May of 1958.

By the following year the plant was in operation. When Imperial Tobacco closed its plant in Guelph the facility was purchased by the Linamar Corporation.  It was later bought by TD Synnex in 2007.
