A Toronto man has been charged with sexually assaulting a woman while she was walking her dog in Guelph.
On April 9 a Guelph woman in her 20s was walking her dog in a west-end park when she was approached by an older man who started speaking to her. During the interaction the man — who was not known to the victim — touched her inappropriately.
Earlier this week, the victim received a text from the male after he was able to obtain her phone number online.
On Thursday a 60-year-old Toronto man was contacted by phone and agreed to turn himself in later in the day. He is charged with sexual assault and will appear in court August 8.
