Vehicle Stolen and Driven Through Gate

The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a truck was driven through the gate of a west-end business while being stolen Sunday night.

Approximately 6:30 a.m. Monday police were called to a business on Speedvale Avenue West near Imperial Road North. Investigation revealed someone gained access to the yard just before 10 p.m. Sunday and stole a white 2018 Chevrolet Silverado with a flatbed. The thief was caught on video reversing the truck through a gate and briefly dragging it before driving off.

Pieces of taillights were found on the ground, suggesting the truck had rear-end damage.
