Violent Knifepoint Robbery at South-end Pharmacy

One employee was treated for a minor injury after three men robbed a Guelph pharmacy Tuesday evening.

Just before 5:30 p.m., the Guelph Police Service was notified of a robbery in progress at a business near Gordon Street and Kortright Road. One of the employees saw the suspects enter and managed to flee to a nearby business to call 911.


One of the suspects was carrying a knife. A female employee was struck by one of the suspects which required treatment at hospital.

The suspects were described as three black males. Two were dressed all in black and one was wearing a white sweater. All three wore masks and gloves.


The suspects fled before police arrived and were last seen southbound on Gordon Street in a white Chevrolet Cruze which had previously been reported stolen.
