The Guelph Police Service is investigating after a west-end home was entered this week while the owners slept.
Approximately 6:40 a.m. Monday, police were called to a home near Willow Road and Flaherty Drive after one of the homeowners came downstairs to find the rear patio doors open. Footprints suggest the suspect walked into the home but then turned and left. Nothing appeared to be stolen.
The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Constable Ryan Horvat at 519-824-1212, ext. 7485, email him at rhorvat@guelphpolice.ca, leave an anonymous message for Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or leave an anonymous tip online at www.csgw.tips.
Residents can obtain information on protecting their home or business properties through the Guelph Police Service’s Community Policing page.
