Just after 9 p.m. police were called to a business near St. George’s Square after a woman entered asking for help. She said she was walking in the area a few minutes earlier when a man sitting in a bus shelter called her over. As she leaned over to hear what he was saying the man touched her inappropriately.
The victim went for help and the man walked away. He was described as being in his late 30s or 40s and wearing a yellow shirt, denim shorts and a dark baseball cap and carrying a blue water bottle. He was last seen walking on Cork Street East towards Norfolk Street.
The victim was not physically injured.
