The festival is organized by Farm League Presents, an events company affiliated with Cambridge-based Farm League Brewing. Collin McKinnon, co-owner of Farm League Brewing and director of both the Fergus Ribfest and the Meadows Music Festival, aims to create a family-friendly event that combines culinary delights with musical entertainment.

While admission is free, organizers plan to support local charities through donations collected during the event. McKinnon envisions the Fergus Ribfest becoming an annual tradition, with aspirations to grow it into one of Ontario’s premier ribfests in the coming years.

Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to mark their calendars for what promises to be a memorable weekend celebrating food, music, and community spirit in Fergus.
